Lanolin is considered one of the finest moisturizers know to man. It has been used in soaps and cosmetics for centuries. The lanolin is contained in the sheep's hair. The sheep are sheared only once a year, and this hair contains approximately 20% lanolin. Each batch of soap gets a generous pour of lanolin, and a splash of mint essential oil.
We love the Lanolin bar. It has just the right amount of mint sent to compliment the smooth and moisturizing lanolin without being overpowering. Thanks for making such a wonderful and unique soap!

It preserves your own moisture barrier. Don't be afraid to try it if you have oily skin. I didn't have to slather on lotion after getting done in the shower. It's right up there with a double strength Pine tar & pine gum ball for me..
